Priyanka Chopra had never dreamt that she will make it for movies one day. She thought that she will be a criminal psychologist or software engineer some day. Miss world 2000 Priyanka chopra is one of the top stars in the bollywood industry today. She is ruling the bollywood industry at present.

Priayanka belongs to an army family. She did her schooling from a school in Lucknow. Then her family shifted to Bareilly for a short stay, that time she was in Maria Goretti College. Her life took on complete change with Femina Miss India.

Priyanka Chopra has done commendable philanthropic activities. While she was in school in US she became the only Indian who was selected at state level for National Opus honour Choir and also participated in the extensive social work.

In fact she joined CAF as well as CII in the literacy programme and became its ambassador. Moreover she had been the part of government organized Polio eradication programme as volunteer.

After that she got in to Hindi films after coming through the modeling route. Miss world pageant is just like a feather in the cap. After winning the pageant of Miss World Priyanka made her acting appearance with the Tamil movie Thamizhan in the year 2001. After two years she made it to bollywood also. she acted in a movie by Anil sharma The Hero: story of a spy. However she tasted success with her second movie Andaaz. She earned filmfare best female debut. She again got Filmfare best villain award for her next movie Aitraaz. This movie was directed by Abaas mastan in the year 2004. Her career started picking up with her next movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in the year 2004. Then came Krish 2006 which was again a super duper hit. Then came Farhan Akhtar’s Don in the year 2006. she also acted in movies like love story 2050 opposite Harman Baweja and God Tussi great Ho starring Sohail and Salman Khan. These movies were like dead on the silver screen. Some time back movies like what’s Your Rashee and Drona has also been released but they also didn’t perform that good on the box office. but movies like Dostana starring Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham and Fashion Starring Kangna Ranaut were super hit on the box office.
